I started working in graphics as a typographer, using an AM Compset 4000 to set copy for the design studio of a busy print business. By today’s digital standards, it was a bit like Grandad’s mile-long walk to school in the snow. Graphic design involved strings of formatting commands, a small dark screen and stints in the darkroom with some dubious chemicals.

Several years and some critical developments in Silicon Valley later, M/O Graphics was founded in a well-lit office. I have spent the last three decades looking for creative and meaningful expression in the digital world. All concepts begin in the imagination but the means of rendering them is continually being enhanced by a steady supply of new and amazing tools.

My projects include all types of print media as well as web site development and maintenance. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, HTML markup and CSS.
